The Upper Room

by VV & The Void

oberoniaomnia A slow layered wall of sounds with recessed vocals, in minor keys with modulations. The moderate reverb engulfs you while you float in a full immersion experience. Difficult to pick a favorite, excellent throughout. Favorite track: The Seeker.

Christian Schaefer Featured this album on the forty seventh issue of RULE of THREE ( VV & The Void present us with a simply stunning and beautifully atmospheric track. Oozing darkness with a slow and distorted bass line and shimmering, angular guitars - “God Machine” is a melancholic fever dream. Valentina’s sweet mesmerising harmonised vocals add a splash of sadness and weight to the song ensuring it won’t be forgotten easily. We absolutely love it! Favorite track: God Machine.

Tom Wagner A wall of soft, but powerful sounds. If the music won't hynotize you, Valentina's voice surely will. Enchanting is all I can say. Favorite track: Devil's Workshop.

Often described as ethereal, gothic, minimal-drone, noir, and dark wave, VV & the Void’s music is the singular celebration of earthly and lucid dichotomy of grace and disproportion, the feminine and the masculine, the moon and the sun, birth and death, and the war of consciousness from the perspective of unconsciousness.

Written by Valentina Veil between Los Angeles and Melbourne.
